DUBAI: Indian men’s cricket team has surpassed Pakistan as the Blue Shirts rose to the third spot in the ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings after the thumping 10-wicket victory over England in the first ODI at the Oval on Tuesday.

According to the latest rankings released by International Cricket Council (ICC), Pakistan slipped to the fourth position as India reoccupied the third spot with 108 rating points after their win in the last game.

Pakistan edged India and climbed to the third spot last month after the clean-sweep victory against West Indies in the three-match ODI series.

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, on the other hand, clinched the top spot in the ODI bowling rankings as he jumped three spots after his magical six-wicket haul cruised India to victory at the Oval.

Meanwhile, New Zealand remained the top-ranked ODI team in the latest team rankings released by ICC, followed by England in the second spot.
