KARACHI: Star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi asked for rest from Quetta Gladiators’ management.
According to the sources, Afridi rested during his team’s training session on Saturday. The experienced cricketer is likely to rest in upcoming match against Lahore Qalandars.
It must be noted here that Afridi went as most expensive bowler in Pakistan Super League (PSL)’s history against Islamabad United. He conceded 67 runs in four overs.
Gladiators are currently placed on fifth position at the points table with only a win.
