Wahab’s Zalmi to take on Rizwan’s unbeaten Sultans today

In the 13th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 Wahab Riaz’s Peshawar Zalmi will be up for a real test as the side will take on Mohammad Rizwan led Multan Sultans, which is leading the points table with four out of four victories.

Zalmi, which secured the fourth position on the points table yesterday after beating Karachi Kings, will be looking to further surge up to the table. Zalmi have played four matches so far in PSL 7 and managed to win two out of them.

For the Zalmi, veteran cricketer – Shoaib Malik can be a handy contributor for the triumph, while the explosive Afghan batter – Hazratullah Zazai can also turn things around if he gets going. In the bowling department, however, last night’s hero Mohammad Umar will be a player to watch.

The Sultans, on the other hand, are experiencing a delightful run so far in this year’s PSL. The defending champions have been unbeaten in the four matches they have played so far. The side, however, will be looking to almost confirm their play-off berth after securing the fifth victory.

ICC T20I Player of the Year and the skipper of the Sultans – Rizwan can be a reliant performer for the side despite his back to back failures. Sultan’s trump card in this season – Khushdil Shah can also be lethal in all departments and can play an important role in the side’s triumph. The classy left-hander – Shan Masood will also be watchful for the side’s fifth PSL 7 clash.
