Korea blunt Pakistan in the first practice match of Hockey Asia Cup 2022

JAKARTA: Pakistan Men’s National Hockey Team’s Asia Cup 2022 campaign got off to a poor start as the side lost their first practice match against Korea 2-1, here on Friday.

In the side’s first practice match ahead of the Asia Cup, the green shirts suffered a frustrating 2-1 defeat against Korea.

Ali Shan remained the only goal scorer for Pakistan while Korean players netted the field and a short corner goal to claim the victory.

The Green Shirts will officially begin their Asia Cup campaign on May 23 against the arch-rivals India, followed by the second match against Indonesia on May 24 and the last group match against Japan on May 26.
