MULTAN: Hasan Ali and Sufyan Moqim shared four wickets between them as Pakistan Blues bowled out Pakistan Gold for a mere total in the second match of the National Champions Cup 2026 at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Shaheen Afridi’s decision to bat first backfired as his side was bowled out for 212 in 45.3 overs.
Saad Khan and Shamyl Hussain added 25 on the first wicket in 4.1 overs. Saad made nine from 15 before getting caught.
After an early wicket, Shamyl was joined by Kamran Ghulam in a bid to steady the innings. The duo shared a 75-run stand, bringing the total to 100 inside 20 overs.
Sufyan Moqim struck with the prized wicket of Shamyl, caught excellently on the boundary rope by Tayyab Tahir. The left-hander scored 50 off 47, including six fours and a maximum.

Kamran Ghulam stitched a brief 36-run partnership with Haider Ali. The scorecard read 136 in 37.1 overs. However, Hasan and Sufyan combined to rattle the Pakistan Gold middle order.
Consequently, they slipped from 136-3 to 174-6 in 37.3 overs and could not recover. Kamran top-scored with 63 off 84 deliveries, hitting six boundaries and a six. Meanwhile, Haider made 44 on 53 with the aid of a six and three fours.
For Pakistan Blues, Sufyan Moqim and Hasan Ali picked up four wickets each. Arafat Minhas also chipped in with two scalps.
