KARACHI: Two of the biggest football superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are likely to come face to face in a friendly match in January 2023, reports suggested.
According to the details, the two football greats Messi and Ronaldo could meet mid-season after a long delay, subjected to Messi’s club Paris Saint Germain’s (PSG) possible tour to Saudi Arabia to play a friendly match on January 19.
The reports further suggested that the Saudi team will field players combined from clubs Al Nassr and Al Hilal.
The possibility of the two former La Liga rivals coming face to face once again when Ronaldo joined Arab club Al Nassr after month-long speculation following the termination of his contract with English Premier League club Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Messi, who won the recently-held FIFA World Cup 2022 to complete his trophy cabinet, confirmed that he will be staying at PSG as the reports suggested that the Argentine superstar agreed to pen a one-year extension with the French club.
