TAROUBA: The trophy for the two-match Test series between Pakistan and West Indies was unveiled at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy on Friday.
Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and West Indies captain Roston Chase posed with the black-and-gold trophy during the official photo shoot on the outfield ahead of the series.
The trophy features a matte-black cup mounted on a gold-coloured stem and base, with a plaque engraved with the word “CHAMPION”.
The series, which forms part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) cycle, will begin at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to 29, while the second Test is scheduled at Queen’s Park Oval from August 2 to 6.
Pakistan and the West Indies have shared a competitive recent Test history.

The two sides last met in a Test series in Pakistan in January 2025, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Pakistan had also toured the Caribbean for a Test series in 2021, with that contest also finishing level. In 2025, Pakistan also toured the West Indies for limited-overs cricket, featuring in three ODIs and three T20Is.
