England star Jude Bellingham comments on Usman Tariq's bowling video

England midfielder Jude Bellingham joined a popular social media trend by commenting ‘nice’ on a video of Pakistan mystery spinner Usman Tariq bowling posted by The Hundred franchise Birmingham Phoenix.

The franchise shared a clip of Usman bowling in the nets on Instagram with a catchy caption.

“IG IS COOL BECAUSE WE CAN POST A VIDEO OF TRAINING AND SOME DUDE NAMED ERLING WILL COMMENT ‘NICE’,” the caption read.

The post referenced Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, whose habit of replying “nice” to training videos has become a widely recognised trend on the platform.

Birmingham Phoenix then tagged Bellingham in the comments, writing: “Maybe someone named @judebellingham too.”

Jude Bellingham responded with a reply: “Nice.”

Jude Bellingham’s interaction comes a month after he became a minority shareholder in Birmingham Phoenix, acquiring a 1.2% per cent stake in the franchise.

It is also worth mentioning that the Three Lions midfielder was in supreme form during the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2026, scoring seven goals as England reached the semi-finals, where they lost to Argentina.

For those unaware, Birmingham Phoenix bought for £140,000 at this year’s auction, becoming the first Pakistani player recruit. He also plays for Warwickshire in the T20 Blast, where he picked up 16 wickets in 11 matches.

Usman rose to prominence for his unorthodox action and has played 9 T20Is for Pakistan. The 30-year-old has so far taken 18 wickets, including a hat-trick in his short career.
