Sufyan Moqim pens heartfelt note before Australia ODIs

Left-arm wrist spinner Sufyan Moqim expressed pride in once again representing Pakistan ahead of the ODI series against Australia, saying wearing the national jersey is a symbol of commitment and responsibility.

The ODI series will begin on 30 May with the opening match scheduled at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The remaining two matches are slated to be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on 2 and 4 June.

Sufyan took to Instagram and expressed pride in again wearing the Pakistan kit ahead of the upcoming series.

“This is not just a uniform or a dress, but a recognition of my commitment and duty,” he wrote in his story caption.

For those unaware, Sufyan has been in and out of the team since making his ODI debut in December 2024 against South Africa.

The ODI series will mark Australia’s first bilateral assignment in Pakistan since March-April 2022. The series follows Pakistan’s successful tour of Australia earlier this year, where Pakistan completed a 3-0 clean sweep over the visitors.
