LAHORE: Peshawar Zalmi’s Saqib Mahmood has left Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 due to his national commitment.
Saqib, who has been selected in England’s Test squad against West Indies, will leave Zalmi as announced by himself on Twitter.
“My time cut short PSL 7 – PeshawarZalmi this year, heading home to prepare for the Test Series against West Indies in a few weeks. Wishing the boys the best of luck for the rest of the tournament,” he wrote.
England and West Indies will play three Tests, starting from March 8.
