COVENTRY: English Snooker player, Ronnie O’Sullivan beat his Australian opponent, Neil Robertson 10-8, in the final of the World Grand Prix 2021; winning the title second time.
The final of the event, comprising of a total 19 frames, followed the same pattern till the afternoon session, with Robertson pulling ahead and O’Sullivan leveling the scores. In the afternoon, the scores were level at 7-7.
However, in the evening session, comprised of four frames, O’Sullivan did not hold back; winning three out of four frames, to win the title by 10-8.
O’Sullivan won his first title since winning the World Championship for the sixth time last year. This is his 38th career ranking title.
