Rohit Sharma named India’s captain for ODIs

MUMBAI: All-India Senior Selection Committee announced Rohit Sharma as the captain of India for the ODI format, here on Wednesday.

Taking to twitter, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the decision regarding the appointment.

“The All-India Senior Selection Committee also decided to name Mr Rohit Sharma as the Captain of the ODI & T20I teams going forward.”, the cricket board wrote.

It must be noted here that Rohit was also appointed to lead the side in T20Is after ICC WT20.
