LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s chairman Ramiz Raja shared his plans to launch a Pakistan Super League (PSL)-like franchise league for U19 and women cricketers.
In a video statement after meeting with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB)’s CEO Tom Harrison here on Tuesday, Ramiz said ECB has shown interest in franchise league for women and U19 cricketers.
“I have pitched my plan of introducing PSL-like league for U19 and women cricketers in front of ECB’s officials. They liked this idea and ensured working together on this,” he said.

“I hope this will bring a lot of opportunities for the U19 and women cricketers. And, we will be the first doing it so there are chances of more countries taking interest in this venture,” he added.
