PHF announces 10-member hockey squad for Women’s Indoor Asia Cup

LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced a 10-member national women’s squad for the upcoming Indoor Asia Cup scheduled from August 8 to 15 in Bangkok, Thailand.

Maira Sabir will lead the Green Shirts in the event after being named captain of the hockey team which included Dua Khan (vice-captain) Shazma Naseem (goalkeeper), Tahira Islam (goalkeeper), Humra Latif, Iqra Iqbal, Nida Asghar, Kulsoom Shahzadi, Maryam Hanif, Areeba Sarwar.

Meanwhile, team manager Shehla Raza, coach Naeem Ahmed and Women’s coach Rahat Khan will accompany the national women’s squad as team officials.
