PCB updates PM Shahbaz Sharif as patron-in-chief on their website

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has updated the patron-in-chief on their official website, today.

According to the constitution of the PCB, the Prime Minister of the country is the patron-in-chief of the board. Since Shahbaz Sharif has replaced Imran Khan as the PM of the country, therefore, the prior now takes the top-most position in the cricket board.

On the other hand, reports are circulating regarding the resignation of the current chairman of the PCB – Ramiz Raja, who was nominated by the ex-PM Imran Khan. Reports further suggest that a former PCB Chairman is in a strong position to take back the role.
