Ramiz, while addressing the PSL 7 draft, said the connection between the cricket board and franchise owners is very crucial.
“The talent of our system can grow with the help of the franchises. I hope the franchises will bring more power with leadership,” Ramiz said.
“We have to make PSL bigger every year. We keep having meetings with the franchises, in this regard,” he added.
Ramiz is hopeful to improvise the league by introducing a new model.
“We will bring more money, a better package, and a better model. Our league is among the best leagues in the world, we will soon make announcements, which will take our cricket forward,” he said.
Ramiz is also keen on providing quality pitches in the domestic circuit.
“The pitches in domestic cricket have been disappointing if the pitches are not up to the mark, then we will not be able to succeed on away tours,” he said.
“Will bring thirty hybrid pitches, while agreed for two drop-in pitches. One will be pitched in Karachi and one will be laid in Lahore,” he concluded.
Ramiz also said that we need to do much more to help the system grow and flourish.
