Pakistani men and women cricketers greet the nation on Eid-ul-Fitr

LAHORE: Pakistani cricketers including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Bismah Maroof, Fatima Sana, and others wished the entire Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a video released on the official social media platforms by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the Pakistani cricketers extended their wishes and gave important messages to the nation on Eid.

Pakistani skipper Babar, who performed Umrah in the Holy month of Ramadan, also took the opportunity and wished the whole Muslim community on the behalf of his entire team.

“A very happy Eid to all of you from my side and on the behalf of my entire team,” Babar said.

The women’s team captain Bismah Maroof alongside fast bowlers Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, and Shahnawaz Dahani wished Eid Mubarak to all the Muslims around the world and also urged them to remember and take care of the needy people.

Whereas, Fawad Alam, Shadab Khan, Nida Dar, ICC Women’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2021 Fatima, and Usman Qadir also wished ‘Eid Mubarak’ to all the Muslims around the world.

It is pertinent to mention here that Rizwan alongside Hasan and Haris celebrated their Eid in the United Kingdom as the trio alongside other Pakistani cricketers are in action in the ongoing County Championship 2022.
