YORKSHIRE: Pakistani right-arm pacer Haris Rauf, who is representing Yorkshire in the ongoing County Championship 2022, has been ruled out of the side’s next fixture after sustaining a minor injury.
According to the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Haris, who picked up an injury during his side’s recently concluded fixture against Kent, is now set to miss the next match.
Haris, who is suffering from aches on the left side of his body, has been advised to rest for a week, and as a result, will miss the side’s next fixture against Essex.
The head coach of the Yorkshire CCC, Ottis Gibson also commented regarding Haris’s injury and hoped that he will be fine by the coming week.
“Luckily, Haris’s injury is not severe. He is under treatment and will be fine by next week,” Gibson said.
“Haris will not be available for our next match,” he confirmed.
It is pertinent to mention here that Haris enjoyed a delightful three-match stint in the ongoing County Championship as the right-arm pacer picked 14 wickets including a five-fer.
