QUEENSLAND: Pakistan outclassed New Zealand in the final on Wednesday to lift the inaugural Over-60s Cricket World Cup in Australia.
SM Kazmi starred for the Green Shirts as he smashed an unbeaten 71 off 83 to aid his side beat New Zealand by seven wickets.
Pakistan restricted the Kiwis to 173/9 in the 45 overs.
The Green Shirts, on the other hand, chased down the target in the 42nd over for the loss of three wickets.
Aslam also scored a brilliant half-century as his 70-run knock put the team in a comfortable position.
Pakistan pulled off an astounding run in the tournament as they earlier defeated home favourites Australia in the semi-finals to earn their spot in the final.
