MALE: The Pakistan Under-15 girls’ table tennis team have defeated the home side of Maldives to qualify for the final of the ongoing South Asian Junior Cadet Table Tennis Championship 2022.
In an exciting semi-final against the Maldives U15 girls’ team, the team comprises Haiqa Hassan and Hoor showcased their talent to seal a scintillating victory and booked their spot in the final.
Earlier, the team of U15 boys comprising Muhammad Ahmad and Abbas Amjad also won their semi-final clash against Bangladesh but failed to achieve the same in the final against the arch-rivals India losing the important final by 0-3.
Pakistan U19 girls, on the other hand, will also lock horns with their Indian counterparts in the semi-final of the event.
