Pakistan T20 Blind Cricket Trophy 2022 Grade-2 kicks off tomorrow

QUETTA: The 12th edition of Pakistan T20 Blind Cricket Trophy Grade-2 is all set to kick off tomorrow here, Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) announced on Thursday.

In an official statement, PBCC announced the commencement of Grade-2 of their premier T20 league from tomorrow. The five-day-long tournament will feature eight teams.

The 15-match tournament will be played from May 27 to May 31 here, with the teams divided into two pools.

Pool A comprises the hosts Quetta, alongside Attock, Faisalabad, and Sargodha. Pool B, on the other hand, features Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, and Gilgit.

The hosts Quetta will take on Faisalabad in the league’s opener tomorrow, whereas, three more matches will be played on the first day.

The semi-finals of the event will be played on 30th May. Whereas, the final of the event will be played on May 31.

The winner of this Grade-2 event will get the place in the Grade-1 Trophy next year whereas the last team on the points table will be excluded from the next competition.
