ISLAMABAD: Teams have started arriving here for Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Pakistan Open International Taekwondo Championship, scheduled to start from November 6 here at Liaquat Gymnasium, Pakistan Sports Complex.
Players and officials from Oman, Jordon, Kazakhstan, Egypt, El-Salvador, Iraq and Nepal have reached here for the competition.
As many as 15 countries will be participating in the martial arts events which will be held under the supervision of the Pakistan Army.
Other teams include Afghanistan, Albania, Iran, Turkey, Morocco, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Croatia, and WT Refuge Team.
Sixteen gold medals will be decided in male and female competitions during the three-day mega event. Over 550 players and officials will be part of this event.
