LAHORE: Uncapped Aamir Jamal is set to make his debut for the Green Shirts as Pakistan are set to lock horns against England in the fifth T20I here at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday (today).
The all-rounder will receive the T20I cap today as he will be the 98th player to represent Pakistan in the shortest format.
“It’s a great honour for me to represent my country,” said Jamal in a video shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board on its official Twitter account.
While expressing his joy for getting a chance in the national team, Jamal said that he looked up to legendary pacer Wasim Akram as his ideal in cricket.
It is pertinent to mention here that the historic seven-match series between England and Pakistan is currently level at 2-2.
