Nation over the moon after Pakistan thrash India by 10 wickets

KARACHI: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi caught major limelight as Pakistan thrashed India by 10 wickets to create history in T20 World Cup.

Pakistanis were waiting for a long time to watch their team beat arch-rivals India in a World Cup contest. It happened today at Dubai International Stadium when Babar and Rizwan helped the green shirts chase down 152 runs with 13 balls to spare and 10 wickets in hand.

It was India’s first 10-wickets defeat in T20Is and Pakistan’s first-ever victory with this margin in the shorter format.

The nation celebrated the victory with full joy followed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan and ex-cricketer Imran Khan himself congratulating the Green Shirts for convincing achievement.
