‘Installation of Drop-in pitches is a good idea’ Wasim Akram

KARACHI: Pakistan’s legendary fast bowler – Wasim Akram while talking to the media, termed the installation of Drop-in pitches as a good initiative by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Wasim, while talking to the media, emphasized on the importance of adapting the changes in the cricket; said the installation of the drop-in pitches is a good idea.

“Changes are important in cricket. The drop-in pitches option is great, it is going to be a good experience, which is a must,” he said.

He also lauded the Pakistan Cricket Team and the interim head coach – Saqlain Mushtaq for their brilliant performance.

“Pakistan’s performance has been quite good, Saqlain Mushtaq’s coaching was also impressive,” he added.

Talking about the Australia’s upcoming tour to Pakistan, he said it will not be an easy task to beat the touring side.

“It will not be easy to beat any team from Australia,” Wasim said.

He also shared that he is unaware of the current decisions of the PCB, however, lauded the initiative for the vacancy of a power hitting coach.
