KARACHI: Pakistan Under 19 centurion – Haseebullah Khan claimed numerous records with his astonishing 135 against Zimbabwe in the ongoing ICC U19 World Cup.
Following his 135 against Zimbabwe, Haseebullah has now claimed the record for the highest individual score for Pakistan in U19 World Cups; surpassing Imam-ul-Haq’ 133 against Scotland in 2014. Babar Azam, on the other hand, has now moved to the third position with his 129 against West Indies in 2010.
Haseebullah has also set the record of the third-highest individual score for Pakistan in Youth ODIs, led by Abdul Razzaq’s 142 against Australia.
Furthermore, the left-handed batter has become just the sixth Pakistan’s batter to score a hundred in the U19 World Cup.
Haseebullah 135 assisted the green shirts to amass a total of 315 against Zimbabwe. Later, Awais Ali shone with the ball; claiming a six-fer as Pakistan thumped Zimbabwe by 115 runs in their first match.
