ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC), Fehmida Mirza ensured that her team will successfully stage the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Pakistan Open International Taekwondo Championship.
The championship is all set to start from November 6 here at Liaquat Gymnasium Islamabad. Over 500 local and international players and officials will be in action during the three days international fixture.
Players and officials from Afghanistan, Albania, Nepal, Jordon, Kazakhstan, Oman, Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Morocco, United Arab Emirates (UAE), El-Salvador, Croatia, and WT Refuge Team have reached here to participate in the event.
Fehmida will appear as the chief guest in the opening ceremony of the extravaganza. “I and my team have worked tirelessly to make this event happen. We will make sure to make it a successful one,” she said.
