COLOMBO: Sri Lankan top-order batter – Bhanuka Rajapaksa, announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) reported.
The left-handed batter issued a formal letter to the SLC regarding his retirement, citing the consideration of his ‘family obligations’.
Taking to Twitter, the SLC shared the announcement.
In international cricket, Rajapaksa represented Sri Lanka in five ODIs and 18 T20Is. He scored 409 runs in white ball cricket, including one half-century in ODIs and two in T20Is.
