ICC to announce winners of 2022 Awards next week

DUBAI: The winners of the 2022 ICC Awards will be announced next week in sequence, starting from Monday (January 23)

As per the International Cricket Council’s schedule, the winners of coveted players’ awards across different formats will be named on Wednesday and Thursday.

The top performers from the previous year will be recognised in 13 different award categories. Meanwhile, five Teams of the Year – three Men and two Women – will also be named by the ICC.

The winners of the ICC awards are determined from the results of the ICC Voting Academy, comprising a wider selection of global cricket journalists and broadcasters, with cricket fans also contributing to the vote via the ICC’s digital channels.

The Performance Period for the awards runs from January 1 to December 31 2022.
