SAINT JOHNS: Hard-hitting left-handed opener Evin Lewis returned as West Indies Cricket unveiled a strong 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup 2022, scheduled to commence in October.
The 15-member West Indian squad also featured two uncapped players as Yannic Cariah and Raymon Reifer received a maiden call-up for the global event, while Nicholas Pooran will continue to lead the men in maroon in the world cup.
The two-time champions will start their ICC T20 World Cup 2022 campaign against Zimbabwe on October 19 before taking on Ireland and Scotland in a bid to make their way to the Super 12s.
Ahead of the T20 World Cup, West Indies will also play Australia in a two-match bilateral T20I series on October 5 and October 7.
