KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja led a high-profile meeting with the officials of Sindh government, district Administration officials and police here at the National Stadium on Tuesday.
The PCB chairman was briefed on the preparations for the upcoming seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), scheduled to start from January 27.
National Stadium’s management was also present during the meeting and they briefed the chairman on preparations for PSL 7. The discussion on opening ceremony of this year’s PSL is also on the cards of Ramiz’s Karachi tour.
Ramiz will also meet title sponsors of the PSL. He has also directed PCB’s marketing team to find a sponsor for PSL 7 anthem.
It must be noted here that Ramiz toured Karachi last week to meet businessmen. He also talked to Karachi media for the first time after becoming PCB chairman.
