PCB announce nominations for annual performance awards 2021-22

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) nominated players in different categories to acknowledge their performance in 2021. 

Young players like Mohammad Huraira, who recently named best batsman of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2021-22, also got nominated in the annual awards.

The annual awards function will be held virtually on January 6 and live streamed on PCB’s Youtube channel.

Nominations:

Domestic Cricketer of the Year

  • Asif Afridi (59 wickets in Pakistan Cup, National T20 and Quaid-e-Azam Trophy)
  • Iftikhar Ahmed (1,456 runs in Pakistan Cup, National T20 and Quaid-e-Azam Trophy)
  • Mohammad Huraira (986 runs in his debut Quaid-e-Azam Trophy)
  • Sahibzada Farhan (1869 runs in Pakistan Cup, National T20 and Quaid-e-Azam Trophy)
  • Tayyab Tahir (1,670 runs in Pakistan Cup, National T20 and Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
