Women footballers in Saudi Arabia get green signal

JEDDAH: Women across Saudi Arabia get permission to play football as the government aims to promote sports in the country. 

According to reports, as many as 16 women’s football teams have been formed to host Women Soccer League. Women footballers across the country have been divided into 16 different teams.

This tournament will pave the way for women footballers in Saudi Arabia to showcase their talent. Saudi government aims to produce quality women footballers for sending them at the international level.
