Remaining West Indian squad members set to return home

KARACHI: The last five members of the COVID hit West Indian squad, left for their home after returning negative.

West Indian captain, Shai Hope, Akeal Hosein, and Justin Greaves are among the players, who left for their country. Assistant coach, Roddy Estwick and the physician are also flying back with the players.

Four of the nine members had already returned home on December 20 after curing from the virus.

Nine members of the touring squad, sent to the quarantine after contracting the deadly virus.

It is apropos to mention here that the ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies, postponed after the spread of the virus in the playing members.
