ISLAMABAD: West Indies Men’s cricket team has left for the country from Islamabad International Airport after the conclusion of the three-match ODI series against Pakistan.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson, the touring team reached here in the morning by a special plane from Multan and then flew back from here.
The West Indian side, which reached Pakistan after whitewashing the Netherlands 3-0, suffered the opposite result in their away series against the Green Shirts as the home side blunted the Caribbeans by 3-0.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan grabbed the fourth position in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup Super League following their whitewash series victory over the West Indies. The Green Shirts were standing at the 10th position before the home ODI series.
