Both teams are gearing up to compete against each other in what promises to be an exciting showdown. At the Pindi Cricket Stadium, the fourth T20I match of the Pakistan vs New Zealand series was in progress.
However, during the 19th over of the first innings, a severe hailstorm abruptly interrupted the game. New Zealand had scored 164 runs and lost five wickets in the 4th T20I when the heavy rain began and persisted, ultimately forcing the officials to abandon the match.
Imad Wasim’s exceptional opening spell disrupted New Zealand’s fast start and enabled Pakistan to restrict them to 54/3 in the seventh over. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, New Zealand’s opener Chad Bowes stood firm and continued to score runs.
Bowes achieved a remarkable half-century before eventually becoming a victim of Shaheen Shah Afridi’s bowling prowess. He scored 54 runs off 38 balls, including seven boundaries and a six.
After his dismissal, Mark Chapman rose to the occasion for New Zealand and, in partnership with Rachin Ravindra, helped the team surpass the 150-run mark. Ravindra lost his wicket in the 19th over after scoring eight runs off 12 balls in PAK vs NZ 4th T20I.
Chapman was the top scorer for New Zealand, remaining unbeaten with a score of 71 off 42 balls, with the help of 10 boundaries and a six. Imad Wasim led the bowling attack for Pakistan and took 3 wickets for 19 runs, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf claimed one wicket each.
