NORTHAMPTON: Pakistan’s young pacer Naseem Shah, who is representing Gloucestershire Cricket in the ongoing County Championship 2022, took his first wicket in his first match.
In a video shared by Gloucestershire, the right-arm speedster can be seen taking his first county wicket.
In his side’s first fixture of the 2022 championship against the home side Northamptonshire, the right-arm pacer dismissed Emilio Gay for 18 in the 14th over.
“NASEEM HAS ARRIVED. Naseem has his first wicket for Gloucestershire as Gay nicks one behind to Bracey for 18,” the county cricket club wrote.

It is pertinent to mention here that in the second innings, Gloucestershire are trailing by 13 runs on the third day as they have scored 223 & 54/4 in response to Northamptonshire’s 288.
