WATCH: Mohammad Amir takes three wickets against Hampshire

SOUTHAMPTON: The left-arm Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir, who is representing Gloucestershire in the ongoing County Championship 2022 picked three wickets in an inning against Hampshire, here on Friday.

Amir, who returned to first-class cricket after a gap of more than two years has made an impact with the ball after he went wicketless in his return county match against Surrey.

The left-arm pacer took three wickets for 57 runs in 26 overs and broke an important 161-runs partnership for the third wicket between James Vince and Felix Organ; dismissing the former on 78.

Taking to Twitter, the Gloucestershire County Cricket Club also shared the footage of Amir’s brilliant spell.

It is pertinent to mention here that Amir replaced his countryman Naseem Shah in Gloucestershire for a brief three-match stint as the latter suffered a shoulder injury and was ruled out of action for a month.
