‘Take a look in the mirror’ Mickey Arthur bashes Umar Akmal

KARACHI: Former Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur gave a befitting reply to the accusations made by the Test cricketer Umar Akmal.

The former coach responded to the tweet of a renowned Pakistan sports journalist Aalia Rasheed, who quoted the accusations made by Umar.

“Mickey Arthur has spoiled my career. The then selection committee & local coaches didn’t support me,” Aalia quoted Umar in her Tweet.

In response to the Test cricketer’s accusation, the former head coach advised the same to look in the mirror.

It is pertinent to mention here that Umar has previously accused Arthur of using abusive language against him while deterred in his response to the show cause notice sent by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The right-handed batter accepted his mistakes and termed the accusations against the former coach ‘unintentional’.
