MELBOURNE: Pakistan batter Shan Masood has been taken to the hospital after he faced a blow on his head during the practice session, here on Friday.
According to the details, a ball hit the left-handed batter on the right-hand side of his head during Pakistan’s net session at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) after which he was moved to the hospital for treatment.
The doctors will examine his injury before taking any further steps. Any further information regarding his condition is yet not available.
Pakistan are set to face arch-rivals India in their first encounter of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 on October 23 (Sunday) at the iconic MCG.
