
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots have signed Pakistan fast bowler Naseem Shah for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026.
This will mark Naseem’s third stint in the CPL, having previously featured for the same franchise in the 2021 and 2025 editions. Last season, the right-arm pacer remained impressive and picked up 11 wickets in 10 matches for Patriots.
St Kitts and Nevis Patriots confirmed the signing in a social media post.
Naseem Shah will be joined by Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga, Afghanistan’s Waqar Salamkheil, and Australia’s Nikhil Chaudhary.

Johnson Charles, Jason Holder, Kyle Mayers, and Andre Fletcher will form a strong local core as the Patriots bid for their second CPL title after winning their maiden trophy in 2021. Last season, they finished fifth on the points table with four wins from 10 games.
The 14th edition of the CPL will kick off on 8 August, 2026, with Jamaica Kingsmen taking on Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the opening match. The final of the seven-team tournament is set to be held in Bridgetown on 20 September.
