Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Friday, named a 12-member white-ball squad for their historic tour to Pakistan, scheduled in September.

The squad features an almost similar group of players who were part of their historic T20 World Cup campaign.

The Proteas women will not be led by Sune Luus as the CSA is likely to name a new captain in the coming days.

Chloe Tryon was not named in the 12-member squad upon her request for leave while Annerie Derckson also missed out on the selection as she is nursing a finger injury.

Uncapped wicketkeeper batter Mieke de Ridder is likely to make her international debut against Pakistan while all-rounder Nondumiso Shangase returned to the squad, having played her last match in 2021.
