KARACHI: The Sindh Inter-division Ringball championship 2022, organized by Sindh Ringball Association, rolled into action at YMCA Ringball Academy here today with Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, and Hyderabad securing the first-round victories.
In the first match after a glittering opening ceremony, Sukkur managed to beat National Ringball Academy YMCA Karachi in a thriller by the scores of 4-3.
After being down 0-3 in the first half, the side made a remarkable comeback with four shoots to clinch the triumph. Abdul Hannan remained the top performer for the side as he scored two shoots.
On the other hand, in the second match, Mirpurkhas sealed a convincing victory over the Larkana division by 6-2.
Larkana’s Subhan Abdullah shone with his brilliant performance as he scored four shoots.
In the third match of the championship, Hyderabad blunt the first match winner Sukkur by the scores of 11-0, thanks to Abdul Hannan, who led the way with eight shoots.
It’s worth mentioning that the inter-division ring ball championship got underway after a dazzling opening ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Sindh Olympic Association Secretary-General Ahmed Ali Rajput, Pakistan Ringball Federation Secretary-General Rasheed Gul, and Sindh Ringball Association Senior Vice President Afzal Bhatti.
