DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the nominees for the Player of the Month award for November 2022, here on Tuesday. Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi and Sidra Ameen are included.

Pakistan’s star bowler of the recently-held ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Shaheen, got the reward for his magnificent performance, snaring 11 scalps at an average of 14.09 and an economy rate of 6.15.

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 winning captain, Jos Buttler, who led his team to their second title and played a significant role in his team’s glory as he smashed an unbeaten 80 off 49 balls in the semi-final clash against India, has also been nominated for the prestigious award.

The right-handed batter scored an overall 207 runs in the previous month including two half-centuries that came against India and New Zealand.

The third nominee for the men’s award, Adil Rashid, experienced a sea-saw turn of fortunes in the world cup from going wicketless in the first three Super 12 matches to playing a significant role in their title triumph.
