LAHORE: Pakistan’s all-rounder Shadab Khan on Monday, tied the knot with the national men’s team’s head coach Saqlain Mushtaq’s daughter in a close ceremony.
Taking to Twitter, the star all-rounder came up with a major announcement regarding starting the new innings of his life.
“Salam everyone. Alhamdulillah today was my Nikkah. I am becoming [a] part of mentor Saqi bhai’s family,” shared Shadab.
Shadab also emphasized his choice of always keeping his family life separate from work while also highlighting that his wife also wants her life to remain private.
“When I started playing cricket, I wanted to keep my family life separate, my family has also opted to stay out of public light,” he wrote.
“My wife has also asked for the same, she wants her life to remain private. I would kindly request everyone to respect her choice and our family’s choice,” he maintained.
The all-rounder then sarcastically welcomed the salaamis by stating that he would share his account number.
“However, if you want to send salami, I will send an account number,” Shadab wrote.

It is pertinent to mention that besides Shadab, national cricketer Shan Masood tied the knot with his best friend Nische Khan in an intimate Nikah ceremony on January 20. Whereas, Haris Rauf married his former class fellow in December.
