Sarfaraz Ahmed hits back at Salman Butt over criticism

KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain – Sarfaraz Ahmed, who is currently leading Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), hits back after Salman Butt’s criticism.

Taking to Twitter, Sarfaraz responded to Salman’s criticism without mentioning his name and called him the fixer.

“The fixer who sold his country is giving a speech about intention,” he wrote.

Salman, in an interview on his YouTube channel, criticized Sarfaraz for his performance and his attitude on the field.

“The way he reacts, the way he talks, I think it’s not good. He does not talk but shouts, does not consult but imposes his decisions” Salman said.

Salman also mentioned the incident when Naseem Shah was seen requesting Sarfaraz to set a fielder at a certain point but, the captain turned down his request.

Salman further advised Sarfaraz to leave other players and focus on his performance since the former captain has been travelling with the team as a second-choice wicketkeeper.
