WATCH: Rashid Naseem breaks Indian martial arts master's record on eve of Independence

KARACHI: Pakistani martial artist Muhammad Rashid Naseem has shattered the Indian martial arts master record ahead of the country’s 78th Independence Day here on Tuesday.

Rashid has broken the Indian record of Narayan, who had smashed 7 marble tiles, by breaking 8 marble tiles with his kick.

The Indian martial arts master has set over 20 world records and has experience performing on international TV shows, where he has also set world records.

Meanwhile, he also succeeded in setting 2 records in the nunchaku category.

In the first record, Rashid Naseem performed 170 consecutive nunchaku triangle steps, surpassing the Guinness World Record target of at least 160 triangle steps.

In the second record, Rashid Naseem successfully rotated the nunchaku behind his neck 55 times, beating the previous record of 45 rotations in one minute.

After his achievement, Rashid Naseem stated that these records will be submitted to the Guinness World Records officials for approval.

Rashid Naseem Martial Arts Academy has become the academy with the highest number of world records in Pakistan, with a total of 160 records so far.

If the Guinness World Records approves these 3 new records, Rashid Naseem’s individual record count will reach 135.

Rashid Naseem not only holds the distinction of having the most martial arts world records individually in Pakistan but also worldwide.

He has broken over 40 Indian records and has also surpassed records from England, China, Italy, Iran, Egypt, Germany, Serbia, and Switzerland.

Rashid is the only Pakistani who has represented Pakistan in international shows held in Italy, Germany, Romania, China, Korea, Singapore, and Spain.
