DELHI: Afghanistan spin wizard Rashid Khan on Monday made history by becoming the first bowler to take 700 T20 wickets during his team’s clash against UAE in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Rashid, 27, reached the landmark in a unique fashion as UAE’s lower-order batter Muhammad Arfan was out hit wicket in a bid to play a reverse sweep, which he missed completely during the 15th over of the game.
