DUBAI: New Zealand’s batting prodigy Rachin Ravindra has shown immense batting prowess during the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023, which earned him the coveted ICC Player of the Month award for October 2023.
Ravindra faced tough competition from South African opening batter Quinton de Kock and Indian pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah for the prestigious award, however, he succeeded on the back of his tremendous performances in his maiden ICC World Cup campaign.
Ravindra kicked off his ICC World Cup 2023 with an unbeaten 123 against England, followed by a half-century against the Netherlands. He later scored another century in the month of October in the nail-biting thriller against Australia.
