Multan Sultans have announced Zimbabwe pacer Richard Ngarava as a replacement for England’s seam bowler Olly Stone for the remaining matches of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.
Stone was ruled out of PSL 9 due to a groin injury sustained during Multan Sultans’ match against Islamabad United last month.
He bowled 3.4 overs before being forced to walk off the field due to the injury. Khushdil Shah bowled his remaining two balls.
His replacement, Richard Ngarava will feature in the PSL for the first time. The 26-year-old pacer has taken 94 wickets in 88 T20 matches, since making his debut in 2016.

Multan Sultans will square off against Babar Azam-led Peshawar Zalmi today in the 21st match of the PSL 9 in Rawalpindi.
They are currently sitting at the top of the points table and became the first team to qualify for the Playoffs of the marquee league after sinking Karachi Kings.
Usman Khan struck a belligerent century, which was followed by a combined bowling performance, leading Multan Sultans to their sixth win of the season.
Batting at number three, Khan joined his skipper Rizwan in the second over and the duo launched an astounding counterattack.
